Mike: While this is definitely a great movie and powerful in its
message, there were enough minor things to keep it from getting a higher score.
Don't get me wrong though; it is still a great movie. The story is about Clint
Eastwood's character as he ages in a neighborhood that changes around him.
As an old school biggot, he has problems with his newly international neighbors.
That is until he finds himself pulled into their lives. My biggest gripe was
that the acting would be great and I would be into the movie when suddenly
a scene would be acted so bad and so transparent that it would pull me out
of everything. It's not like they couldn't act because the rest of the movie
was great but there were 2-3 scenes were I turned to my movie partner and
went "That was really bad acting." And unfortunately they were emotional
scenes to the story.
